What is ribbon? This is a narrow or tubular fabric made from a variety of yarns.
The raw materials used for ribbon weaving include polyamide, vinylon, polyester, polypropylene, spandex, viscose, etc., forming three kinds of technology of weaving, knitting, knitting, fabric structure has plain, twill, satin, jacquard, double layer, multi-layer, tubular and joint organization.
And how many printing methods for ribbon? Next let’s to see together .
1.Heat Transfer Printing
Heat transfer printing process is widely used in the gift customization industry, especially in the production of hanging rope. This process has low cost and good effect. In printing network patterns have absolute price advantage, and thermal transfer printing hanging rope absolutely environmental protection, so also widely loved by customers. Heat transfer printing hanging rope production, embryo belt is generally white, the whole rope including background color and text patterns are sublimated up. Therefore, it is very convenient for the user to design the overall effect of the hanging rope. Theoretically, the hanging rope can be made according to any color pattern of the customer. Thermal transfer printing because of the overall pattern transfer printing will not appear such a situation, rich patterns, color diversity is not limited, more suitable for color rich and difficult to distinguish the draft. The biggest characteristic is, has and the belt same softness, the color fastness is quite high.
2.Silk Screen Printing
During printing, the ink is extruded by the scraper to transfer to the substrate through the mesh of the graphic part to form the same graphic and text as the original. Screen printing equipment is simple, easy to operate, printing, plate making simple and low cost, strong adaptability. Specifically divided into: ordinary ink printing, rotary printing, foaming printing, thermosetting printing, hard plastic printing and so on. Usually hot stamping, hot silver printing is screen printing. Disadvantages: color is limited, and the length of the drawing needs to be relatively short. Now the factory for convenience, usually printing will leave the edge, ribbon edge is not printed, so more suitable for printing.
3.Computer jacquard (similar to embroidery)
Computer jacquard uses embroidery machines to weave patterns of different colors on the ribbon, which is formed synchronously with the ribbon. Because it is directly woven, the cost is relatively high, and the loss is relatively large, the minimum order quantity is relatively high, divided into single side jacquard and double side jacquard. This should be a weaving process, not a printing process.
